Brian Duggan will be presenting new work for this solo project at G126. G126 is the only democratically run artist-led gallery in the west of Ireland. A not-for-profit organization, G126 offers an alternative to museums and commercial galleries. [Images]

New Acquisitions. the Irish Museum of Modern Art. 24 April 2007 - 17 March 2008.

A new exhibition of works acquired by the Irish Museum of Modern Art since 2003 opens to the public at IMMA on Wednesday 25 April 2007. Featuring 37 pieces acquired through purchase, donation and long-term loan, the exhibition concentrates mainly, but not exclusively, on new media. (I’m always touched) By Your Presence, Dear, includes film-works by Pierre Huyghe, Lu Chunsheng and Brian Duggan, an installation by Dorothy Cross, a painting by Hughie O’Donoghue and a photo work by Candida Höfer. The exhibition, whose title is taken from a 1978 song by the American punk rock band Blondie, will be officially opened by Gavin Friday.[link]

During the Meanwhile consists of several large DVD outdoor projections in Mayor Square and other sites in the International Financial Services Centre, Dublin, with the National College of Ireland, Mayor Square as the primary site. A related piece was projected from the Hugh Lane onto the adjacent gable wall of No 21 Parnell Square, linking the project back to the Gallery.The films were on a loop and playing continuously all night, outside office hours from 5pm until 9am, untill 12 march.
